[PLUG] ECE PPP

Hello:

I am trying to setup a PPP connection through my linux box to ECE.
I have Red Hat 5.1 installed and am using the 2.0.35 kernel.

I used netcfg to connect and everything works fine - the modem dials,
the computers induldge in thier usual conversation - but after that
nothing
happens !! and soon after my machine dials again (I guess indicating
that the
previous connection was a failure).

Is this a common problem ?? Are there any special parameters specific to

ECE that need to be set ?? How would one connect to PUCC using SLIP ??
