I said I would burn things. I don't have RH5.2 at the moment. If someone
has it, and someone else wants a copy, I can be a catalyst for said
transaction, as I have a CD burner and blanks. I do have Debian 2.0 at my
disposal, though. Everyone uses Debian. Debian is your friend.
And, on a side note, PNP hardware is supported under linux thanks to the
isapnptools package. This is an unwieldy beast that is difficult to
configure and doesn't always work the way you expect it to. But, for what
it's worth, it sets my sound card just fine. isapnptools comes in the
"standard" Debian distribution. I don't know if RH has it, but it's been
around for a long time. Otherwise, it's probably available on sunsite.
I think there's also a FAQ for setting up pnp under linux, on the main faq
site. Maybe a howto.
