[PLUG] Newsgroup

Has anyone been able to successfully access the Purdue news server from
a dial-in connection?  I am one of the unfortunate souls in Cary, and
therefore do not have ethernet..  I heard mention that some of the
discussions on the list were carrying over to the newsgroup and I'd like
to check them out.. but so far I have not been able to access any Purdue
news server.  I have tried news.purdue.edu and news.cc.purdue.edu and
gotten "No permission to talk" in both cases.
