that's ridiculous. if you're going to value the benefits of good teachers and
people who are knowledgeable in your field below the effort to walk to campus
than you aren't going to get much from your education anyway.  if it were
unusably slow, i could see that being a problem, but since people have named
various ways to get better connectivity from home with a little more expense
than just use that if you need to.  not everyone does, that's why purdue does
not pay for it themselves and pass the cost on to everyone.
