[PLUG] RAID compatible w/ linux?

I've already researched this project before. I ended up purchasing a DPT
Smart Raid V (www.dpt.com) and running Linux Kernel 2.2.5. If you are
planning on using it as your primary/only storage you will need to download
their hacked-up/custom boot disks from their site. The cost of the card was
around $500. Another supported card which is higher end is the IPC Vortex,
I believe VA Research uses them in their machines. Those will run you a
cool $1200 to start. I personally love my DPT Smart Raid V and will vouch
for it. I have it running five UWU2 IBM Ultrastar 9GB Drives under RAID-5.
