For the same reason many guys seem to thing that screwing anything w/ two
legs and a hole is cool.
I dunno, I would agree about the Palm however it does help prove the
portability argument, although it shouldn't be much of  a stretch(theory) the
PSX is MIPS based w/ I believe fairly generic hardware.
