[PLUG] good starting machine

Hello,

I'm relatively new to Linux, i've installed it on my computer back home,
but I spent so much time getting it setup that I never spent time using it.
Anyhow, now I have a powerbook, but I want to find a cheap(really cheap)
box to run linux on, just something to mess around with. What would be my
best option? All suggestions are appreciated.
