Good meeting tonight!
Could I get some opinions on what are considered to be good intermediate
to advanced books on Linux installation and system admin? I realize that
the books become obsolete quickly, but it's sometimes helpful to have a
text that presents fundamental concepts (or when your machine is down!).
One of the freebies tonight, "Linux Unleashed" with a Red Hat 6.0
distribution, can be had for about $40 - is it worthwhile?
I also use FreeBSD, and I have found the "Complete FreeBSD" book from
Walnut Creek to be very informative. Anything comparable in the
Linux world?
Thanks,
