I haven't really seen any good Linux books to be honest.  I think
the best source of info I have found for learning Linux is to browse the
web and read what people have posted there.  As far as Linux Unleashed
goes, I got it when RH5.2 was released and I was not impressed with that
book at all.  It has some good tidbits, but I thought it was a waste
of paper.

Keep in mind, this is just my opinion, but I like books from the publisher, Que.  I have purchased many of their books and was only let down (slightly) by a book on CGI.  All of the other books (around a dozen) were everything I could expect in a book and more.  Now days, if I am looking for a book and Que has one on the subject, I buy it, no questions asked.  I have been looking at another publisher called O'Reilly ( http://www.ora.com ).  They look pretty good so far but I haven't seen enough of their work to form a complete opinion.  Those are probably your best bets.

As a general reference book I would recommend: Linux Unleashed (Sams
Publishing)

This is a very good general reference type book.
Any commands you forgot, any concepts you want to get a general idea
about, this book is for you.
I bought this book when I first started tinkering w/ GNU/Linux, and I used
it every 5 minutes for the first couple days, then every hour, then once
per day, And now I just use it as a reference book.

The thing to keep in mind is that this book (like any other reference)
will only provide a general idea of whatever concept you want to learn
about. If you really want to learn anything about a given topic, you will
end up looking at some websites and some HOWTO's dedicated to that topic.
