[PLUG] LILO + PartitionMagic == BAD!

Never had said problem with PM4 even when moving a 2GB linux partition
so that it would fit in the 1024th cylinder.
My solution for fixing lilo and general linux booting issues is to boot
the machine from floppy. Slackware works well too, but I normally use
the Mandrake installer. Actually, I have to now that I use ReiserFS.
So get the machine booted, switch to a virtual console, make sure that
your / partition is mounted, cd to that location and type 'chroot
/locationofroot'. Then run lilo.
This worked especially well when I installed a new kernel and didn't run
mkinitrd. Ack, that was a nightmare.
