[PLUG] An Idea

OK, we have PHYS 112 every monday night, and we intend to use it,
at best, every other monday night, right?
I just got a copy of Lions' Commentary on UNIX, and when looking
though it last night, it struck me: this could be a thing for group
study. I know that Coriolis has releaseda similar book (albiet much
larger) on the Linux source code.
I figure that either one would be good to learn how an OS really
works. I have Lions, and the source is under 9100 lines of code,
while the Linux code is fairly massive (of the 575 pages of that
book, more than 400 is pure source).
Barnes & Noble has the Linux book, and it didn't take long to
get the Lions' book. This seems like a good thing to do with the
spare mondays, and we can be sure to go slowly enough that interested
people who have heavy classloads don't have yet another huge time
requirement.
As my wife says, "Oprah has a book club, so this idea can't be too
silly."
