[PLUG] X, fonts, and Netscape

I've been trying to get Netscape to display fonts better for a while
now. The problem is that the majority of the sizes are quite readable,
but some of the smaller sizes on web pages are terribly unreadable. I
run X at 1600x1200, with 75dpi fonts. Tonight I changed to 100dpi fonts
to see if it made a difference, which it did for web pages at least.
Problem is that the system fonts are too big now. I'd like a nice
compromise, readable fonts in Netscape (see 100dpi picture below) and
reasonable size system fonts like in the 75dpi picture.
here are the links:

this shows 75dpi fonts, with the Netscape fonts Helvitica (Adobe) 14pt
and Courier (Adobe) 14pt

this shows 100dpi fonts, with the Netscape fonts Helvitica (Adobe) 12pt
and Courier (Adobe) 12pt, but the menubar/statusbar etc. fonts are too
big.
I guess what I am looking for is a compromise, anyone have any ideas?
