[PLUG] mp3player for Alpha

The problem actually lies withing the kernel. No mp3 player will play
properly. Most sound also will not play properly. This is of course as
far as I know only applicable to the Miata's. You can downgrade to a
2.0.3? kernel and it may work. Also mpg123 .59m-r are buggy, if you want
the latest get it from CVS. Also there is some funky setup you need in
your /etc/modules, something like...

alias sound sb
pre-install sound insmod sound dmabuf=1
alias midi opl3
options opl3 io=0x388
options sb io=0x220 irq=5 dma=1 dma16=5 mpu_io=0x330

Not sure what more is needed.....also the voodoo3 should work, for X it is
only a question if the drivers were compiled it. Alpha's pci buses are
the same as on whats those things called? smut86's? However, do NOT, I
repeat DO NOT try and use a frame buffer on the card :>, you'll lock the
machine, fb support is almost none existant, unless you have a, uhh tga
card I believe.
