[PLUG] mandrake

Hi, I really don't know much about linux....  I just installed Mandrake 7.1 
on my system, but I can't play any audio files.  When I do a test in 
Sounddrake, error message will be displayed:

/etc/isapnp.conf:44 --Fatal - resource conflict allocating DMA0 
csee/etc/isapnp.conf
/etc/isapnp.conf:44 - - Fatal - Error occured executing request "channel 0" 
--- further action aborted

Anyway, I have no Idea what to do next.  I still have so much more to learn...
also, do I have to unmount a CD before I can eject it from cd-rom under Gnome?
