CPU speed and RAM doesn't really matter for bandwidth. ;-)
You could probably do 140KB/sec on a 286 with 512k of memory. ;-)

will run a half-modern operating system. ;-)

THere's your problem.. you get what you pay for. Verio is by no means
even close to being a decent ISP. I think I've compared it to
shit-eating maggots that live at the bottom of murky bogs in dense swamps.
