Hello people,

I was wondering if any of you have light to shed on this matter.

I tried to obtain an ISO image of Debian 2.2 recently. It turns out they
are using some means of pseudo-image-generation which is meant to reduce
the load on the mirror servers around the world. What it has meant for me
is that I can't obtain the image! Even after following their instructions
to the letter, the downloading program just does says "Getting:" and stays
that way, even if you leave it overnight (using a cable connection!).
Also, the filesizes in the download directory do not change overnight. The
same situation occurs both under Win32 and Linux.

By the way, if I can't really can't download the silly thing, I don't mind
buying the CD-ROM from someplace. The Csociety office only has Debian 2.1
and Best Buy of course only carries the bigger commercial distros. And
frankly, I don't know of any other places here.

<sigh> Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

From,
Dev
