It's not an OS thing, it's a UI thing, and X, Win32, and MacOS X
pretty much >are< the field.

Of course if GNUstep worked better on generic UNIX, there'd only
be one to worry about.  OPENSTEP stuff already works on MacOS X
and MS Windows.  (And Solaris, for that matter.)
