PLUG present Laura Matheney of Ecrix Corporation
(http://www.ecrix.com).  Laura will be speaking to PLUG about tape
backup technologies and data integrity.

Tape backup is one of the most important components of a data
integrity and security policy. However, to most users, tape storage
devices and technologies are mysterious and often misunderstood. The
presentation will provide a survey 
of the current state of tape backup, with useful information for
everybody, from the complete tape neophyte to the veteran sysadmin.

About the speaker:
Account Manager 
Ecrix Corporation
Laura Matheney joined Ecrix in 1999 as an account manager with a focus
on 
establishing and nurturing Ecrix relationships with VARs, system 
integrators, resellers, and small OEMs. Her background includes over
eight 
years in technical sales and marketing, project management, and
training. 
Laura attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma,
with a 
double major of mathematics and computer science.

Punch and pie will be served.  (For those who don't know punch is pop
and pie is pizza.)
