[PLUG] Windows Terminal Server from Linux

I just came across something that is pretty neat. My roommate had
showed this to me in Windows 2000 (the client came on the 2000 CD), so I
got to wondering if there was Linux support. It provides remote
user-independent graphical access to a windows machine. I know that
this is nothing new to the hardened UNIX user, but it is fairly novel to
see this on a Windows machine. It reminds me of XDMCP in the UNIX
world. It performs much better than VNC does. (VNC doesn't support
multiple simultaneous users either)

You need to go download a client here:
http://download.citrix.com/
The only strange thing about the install is that it doesn't put the
binary somewhere that it can be easily found. The RPM installed it here
on my system: /usr/lib/ICAClient/wfcmgr
After you install it, you can connect to the ECN machine called wts.ecn
. Once connected, you log into it just like an ECN NT machine. (sorry
for those of you that don't have ECN accounts)
I find this a nice alternative to running VMWare, or even using wine
in some cases. There are lots of features, I can even hear windows
sounds in Linux. I was playing MP3s on it for fun.
The machine itself appears to be a Compaq Quad Xeon with 2 gigabytes
of RAM and about 10 gigabytes of swap.
