I totally agree, I was just questioning as to why you are you reversing an
entire class b?
i.e. here is the info on that class b:
;; AUTHORITY SECTION:
113.150.in-addr.arpa. 0S IN SOA ns01.army.mil.
DOMAIN-REQUEST.AIMS7.army
.mil. (
10000 ; serial
10M ; refresh
1S ; retry
10M ; expiry
30M ) ; minimum
are you hosting a secondary / tertiary / etc.. dns server for the army?
in ROTC or something?
I am actually curious as to this... I am not knocking you down on this,
believe me... cuz if you are actually hosting this, that rocks! :)
Anyway, if there is conflicts in the source of authority for the reverse,
and when it tries to do an update with the root nameservers, you might be
experiencing problems... Like I could be totally wrong here, but the
serial number you are using (are you pulling zone files from somewhere
else?) is it conflicting with some other server?
i have checked all of deja.com and not found a thing on that error...
which version of bind are you using? 4, 8, or 9?
