It's more fun to harrass.  :-)

Oh, one other thing to look into would be IPSEC.  Win2k supposedly
has it built-in or with an add on from the resource kit.  You'll
need the FreeSWAN stuff for Linux.  Free/OpenBSD have it built-in I
think.
