Well it is official my car is totaled. The body shopped called to tell
me (actually my mother) that they it cost more to fix my car than the
car was worth. They have a computer program that you enter the price
for parts and when you go over the price of the car it tells you. They
entered my hood and a fender, that is when it said stop. I think I may
be getting a 89 Lincoln. It is maroon with white leather seats, but it
has been in the sun for a while so the hood and roof look like a nuclear
bomb has been dropped on them, I plan on having the car painted black.
Yes I know it is not essential, but my car did have any color problems
before the Durango-o-Death pulled out in front of me. I paid for a
somewhat nice looking car, I shall get a somewhat nice looking car
again.
Well I left my Purdue parking sticker in my car so I had to go back and
get it at the body shop. A parking sticker is a must at Purdue, or
you'll be parking two miles away. Anyway, I was at my house, about 10
minutes away from Purdue on 26 and the car was in West Point (in between
Attica and Laf.) While their is no simple way of going from my house to
the body shop, so I played a game the Gregory's taught me, "Let's Get
Lost". I left my house and turned on the next road, not knowing where it
went. Some how I ended up in Independence, a little out of the way but
I did know how to get to West Point from there. At the body shop I took
everything I could out of my car, the sticker, floor mats, lighter, ash
tray, etc. I didn't come all this for a sticker. Well it was time to
go, so I decided sense I really didn't get lost the last time, I should
try again, boy did it work the second time. I stayed within the county,
I think, but I drove in a circle for about 20 minutes. After leaving
the loop, I took a left somewhere and ended up at the truck entrance of
Eli Lilly's. Well I thought their was a bridge around their so I drove
around for 10 minutes looking for one (Collan: I found some new
you-know-what spots). I finally made it home, without asking for
directions, but it took a little over a hour for the whole trip. Fun
times.
In math class today I found out how to make plastic explosives using
rubber erasers, nothing like a college education to teach you how to
blow up things. Last night at about 11:00, Phil came by after work to
drop off a life size cut out of Dave Thomas, Phil works at Wendy's. It
was nice because it added some color to my house, but Dave's eyes follow
you... VERY creepy. I very sure one night I'm going to wake up to find
a cardboard cut of Dave Thomas trying to kill me and asking if I want
fries with that, of course this could be my allergy medication talking
but I doubt it.

PS: Phil and Kayla - I was fitted for my tux.
