[PLUG] Summertime blues

I don't know whether to be happy or sad... I finally have everything
working fine on the purdue network... I've set pine to read my purdue
mail... I've activated my samba server so I'm on the local network, I've
found a bunch of fun commands like traceroute to play with...   and it's
just two weeks before summer when I probably won't be able to get my
winmodem working so no internet for me....   can one still access the
PUCC resources from a non-resnet connection?...

Or does anyone have some good suggestions to make the transition from
network to stand-alone and back again run smoothley?
