[PLUG] Display dificulties

Ok, this is odd... I'm typing behind a prompt that is eight times as large
as it should be (4 chars across and two down). My mouse is just a white,
blurry blob under X, but the console mouse looks normal. To fix it I can
restart the computer. Here's how it started: I installed the drivers for
Linux supplied by the NVIDIA company for my TNT2 M64. It works fine and
nothing is operating incorrectly except after I shutdown X from the first
time I start it after a boot. This cursor is very large and present on
all the switchable tty's and whenever I telnet or ssh to another computer.

ALSO:
I noticed after running Xconfigurator, that there is one screen size that
seems to be used, and the larger resolutions merely extend off the end of
the screen. Is there a setting where I can have it change to fill the
whole screen?

thanks,
