What brand??

Throw this away.

Works. I have one too.

Uh. I think you can do capture. Not sure...
> soundblaster Live
Use the 2.4 kernel. Everyone seems to have issues with this one for
some reason. We'll get you to 2.4 though. :-)
> ps2 mouse and keyboard
Oh. These don't work at all. You have to solder a connector to the
motherboard and use these special keyboards that cost about $75 a piece.
Just kidding!!!
> IDE ATAPI devices -------------------
> samsung 12x DVD player
Will work. To read DVDs though you need a newer 2.2 kernel or a 2.4 kernel.
> 8/4/32x cdr- would be nice could live without support
Should work unless it's really funky. You'll have more reliable burns
in linux too.
> sony trinitron fd 19 inch monitor
19" monitors don't work with linux either. You'll have to give it to me.
> hp592C deskjet
No clue.
> ezonics webcam usb-i can live without
Some do some don't.
> soundcard game port/usb
> Logitech digital extreme 3d joystick
I have the same joystick though i haven't tried to use it under Linux.

May I ask why you don't have your hard drive plugged into the
motherboard? Is it cause you want ATA 100 and your mobo doesn't? This
may be what is causing your problems. If we know the brand of your IDE
controller, we can maybe figure out what's going on. You may want to
try plugging the hard drive into the motherboard and seeing if you get
any farther on the install. Don't boot to windows though because
Windows will freak if you change hardware around like that.

You can give it to me before you Ebay it.
