My current setup: Linux Mandrake 7.2 & Win98 dual boot. Linux is on my
SCSI drive, and Win98 on my IDE. I have my bootloader on the MBR of the
IDE, which my system reads from on boot. Now here is my question. I'd
like to format my IDE, and install Windows 2000, however I'm afraid
Windows will overwrite my bootloader and I'll no longer be able to get
into Linux. Can someone tell me for sure? And if this is the case,
what is the remedy? Or does Linux ALWAYS have to be installed after
Windows?
