use a slack boot disk, and at the lilo prompt type:
vmlinuz root=/dev/sda0 (or whatever yours is, if your not sure type df and
it will tell what devices the partions are on)
then once it boots (either normally or in maintenance mode, type
$ /sbin/lilo
and it should fixed it.
However being SCSI, you may run into trouble, but I don't think so...
