[PLUG] Slackware 8.0 and dependencies?

I figured hey...I'm bored...took all my tests already, so I might as well
try a new OS.  I decided might as well go w/ Slackware after running
freebsd  for  the good part of a year.  Anyway, I'm trying to install
things and get a  million dependency errors.  Maybe pkg_add -rv <pkgname>
was a little too kind...is there anything like this for Slack or do I get
to manually hunt them down and install them?  I installed the full install
(if this makes any difference).
