Ok.  Well when introduced myself and then asked a few simple questions about
the structure of Purdue's network (something that I can understand being off
topic, but I assumed that most people would be as interested as I am in the
network and what's going on around campus) I never imagined that it would
spark so much heated debate.  Just for the record I never said my ResNet
connection sucked, and I did not intend for anyone to take it that way.

I have been on many, many newsgroups and mailing lists in the past that were
for the most part more lenient about slightly off topic posts (as in, still
related, but maybe not specifically.. i.e. general car discussion or quick
questions about another model of car on a Mustang list or something)  I
guess that just spoiled me.  I will try to keep it a little more related in
the future.  please accept my apology.
