   You guys are a big help.
   If you were hoping for a simpler solution than, "reinstall your
entire system using my favorite distro," please consider recompiling
your RedHat kernel, and enabling the NTFS support during the 
configuration options.  It will work just fine.  Redhat has the NTFS
source, it simply is not compiled in with the standard kernel RPM.
(Ostensibly because NTFS support is still considered "experimental".)
