[PLUG] cd recording

I'm having trouble getting my burner to work with my Progeny install.  I have 
cdrecord installed, but every time I try to run it, it can't find my burner.  
I've done a discover cdrom, and it saw that my burner is /dev/hdc.  However, 
when I do a cdrecord -scanbus the only thing cdrecord sees is my zip drive at 
scsi id 0.  I was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to how to get cdrecord 
to find my drive?  Thanks.
