Here are my complaints about debian:
Dselect doesn't seem to work after upgrading to woody, and often gets
confused about the dependencies. I think the package system may have been
broken once or twice in woody. They got rid of the distributed-net
package (anyone know why?).
(Some of these may have been fixed.)
Despite these, I still think apt is great. I use debian for most linux
stuff.
Also, I'd like them to get the woody installer working (if it isn't
already). Last I checked, you have to install potato first and then
woody.
