[PLUG] Tornado season \ METAR decoder

Hey guys, your weather-loving president here.
Kind of along these lines, I was going to undertake the process of 
writing a METAR fetcher,
& decoder (prolly TAFs too) with a GTK or QT frontend to it. I was 
wondering, since i
appear not the be the only one in plug with somewhat of a weather 
fascination, if anyone
wanted to help out in this, or if not, if anyone had any good ideas 
towards it let me know.
