    Version Information
    This release fixed several reported bugs and some changes that will hopefully fix the ME shutdown problem and Win95 OSR2 network problem (don't have these OS's so I can't test it myself).
    Bugs fixed
  • Notification on loss of connection with upsd was not happening
  • Documented configurable shutdown delay
  • Network error codes were not properly being reported
  • Errors while initally connecting to the UPS were not being logged
  • ME suspends instead of shutting down on ups going critical - need someone with ME to verify this fix
  • Added better documentation in the upsmon.conf that ships with WinNUT
  • Fields in configuration tool on first run would be garbage
  • NT Service mode wasn't properly closing connections to upsd on system shutdown
  • NT Service would disconnect from upsd before the system shutdown actually started - which could lead to power being cut to the system before it actually finished shutdown.
  • Added uninstall documentation in the README
  • Changed logging channels to make more sense for the event being logged.
  • Cleaned up spacing of log files and added string descriptions of the log channel
