Version Information

Known Bugs:
• A new communication protocol is being used in the NUT releases 1.3 and later, and NUT release 1.5 removes the backwards compatibility for the old protocol that WinNUT speaks. So WinNUT is only compatible with 0.44.x thru 1.4.x.
Notes:
• Make sure you stop older versions of WinNUT before installing the new version
Bugs fixed & Improvements
• Ported a current version of the NUT upsmon code over (1.2.1). This added the following key features to WinNUT:
  • Support for login name
    
  • New config file parser
    
  • New implementation of the network communication protocol
    
  • Some timing improvements
    
• Added a proper Windows Installer using Inno Setup and IS Tool (a gui for Inno Setup) - this also allows for a proper uninstall
